OK, first lets solve the problem of not being able to see what we're doing. This will have to be set back before rendering, but will help with the setup of camera angles and such.
Open the master material, and click on the diffuse tab. Change the color to some color you like (from the 100% white color).

Then in the Luminance Tab, check the Diffuse Bias tab.

This should now give you a screen like below:

There, that's better, now you can see what you are doing in the scene. Just remember to uncheck the Diffuse Bias, and set the Diffuse color back to 100% white before you render.
OK....with me so far....
What you should have if you render now, is something like this:

Cool, huh? I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the background. I grayed out the cloud shader, but still am not quite happy with it. If you apply the hidden line material to it, though, it will just be white. Need to do some experimenting there. :o)
OK, only one possible problem left. Most architectural sketches don't have this much perspective to them. This can be solved by moving the camera way back from the reference point. The house will then be very small in the camera view. Then in focal length box for the camera, increase the number till the house is back in the view you want. The results should yield something like this:

Hope you enjoyed this little tutorial, and good luck with your projects.
